St Alban's Church was absolutely full at the Remembrance Service – a wonderful coming together of the community for this important act of remembering all those who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms and values that we all enjoy and uphold.
Led by the Explorers, Scouts, and Cubs the Tattenhall Community processed down from the service to the War Memorial, and there proclaimed the well known response: "We will remember them". The Last Post was sounded, and the whole community stood in silence; after the Reveille, memorial wreaths were laid. The hymn Abide with Me was sung unaccompanied, after which the Rev Lameck Mutete thanked everyone for coming and taking part in the Remembrance.
Well done Tattenhall and community.
Let's all get together again for the Christmas Carol Service on Sunday 22nd Decemberat 6:00pm.
