Book Cover

Our thanks to everyone in the village who has ordered the new local history book 'Tattenhall — A Community United by War'.

Tattenhall Local History is thrilled to announce that the first donation of £253 has been made to The Royal British Legion. This is a particularly splendid effort since every attempt to launch the book has been thwarted with the Covid-19 pandemic regulations.

All donations are divided between The Royal British Legion and in maintaining the Local History Website domain costs etc.

Thank you for your generosity and for your very positive comments about the content.

As David and Maureen Hughes wrote — 'Congratulations on your book. Well researched, thought provoking, beautifully produced and a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives. A must for every bookshelf in Tattenhall'.

If you need to reserve a copy then please telephone Terri Hull on 01829 770026.
