We Cannot Do it Without You – The Tattenhall Poppy Project

The Craft Group of the Women's Institute has started to assemble the 'Wall of Poppies' for our Centenary Armistice Weekend events.

We are 6 months into the 'Tattenhall Poppy Project' and we now realise what a huge task we have undertaken.

This is a heartfelt plea – we simply need lots more poppies to transform the vision into reality.

The poppies can be of any material and can be of any size. Our only request is that they are red with a black centre.

WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT YOU.

• Wool can be bought cheaply at places like Aldi and Wilko.
• There are lots of patterns online to knit or to crochet and there are even YouTube clips ....
• Lots of localities are getting involved in 'Poppy Projects' – let's make the 'Tattenhall Poppy Project' one of the best
• Finished poppies can be delivered to any WI member or to our President, Sue Gamble, at 14 Barnfield, off Covert Rise, 01829 772659
