Adverse weather update – message from the Headteacher:
I understand that although we have had no more snow, the cold temperatures are making the thawing process rather slow. As I don't live in Tattenhall, its difficult to ascertain the conditions as its relatively clear in Chester. We do intend to open tomorrow, unless the road conditions make it unsafe for pupils and staff to get to school.
We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused especially to our working parents. When children come in tomorrow, please can they wear lots of warm clothes (layers), warm coat, hat, gloves and scarves and make sure they have wellies or outside shoes with grips and a pair of shoes to change into in school? Own clothes is fine tomorrow, its important that the children are warm. The heating in school is working but it will be cold outside.
Re-scheduling of the KS1 Christmas Play
Obviously this had to be re-organised today due to school being closed. We have therefore arranged for these performances to be re-scheduled to 2pm and 6pm on Monday 18th December. We really hope that you can join us!
Sincerely,
Mrs Jo Hawkins
Headteacher
