U3A's Last Walk of the Year together with Christmas Lunch on Thursday 8 December

Gosh, it is hard to believe that this is our last U3A walk of the year which is scheduled for Thursday, 8 December.

That said, we are set to enjoy our Christmas meal too!

We are returning to The Boot, Boothsdale, Willington, Kelsall CW6 0NH. There's a sign from Willington Lane which directs you to the lane at Boothsdale.

From Chester you go through Kelsall, turning right onto Church Lane, then left onto Willington Road/Lane.

From Tattenhall, go through Huxley, turning left at the T junction through Hoofield then right onto Crooked Lane, then left onto the A51. Take the first turning right onto Willington Lane, past Willington Hall.

Boothsdale is on the right after Chapel Lane.

The Inn is at the end of the lane; please park at the back of the car park away from the pub.

We aim to start walking at 9.40am promptly, the walk is about 4 miles has good views and about three uphill sections including Little Switzerland. There are no animals or stiles, but there may be muddy sections depending on the weather. We also plan to walk in Primrose Woods. You may like to bring a drink for the walk.

If you are just coming for lunch, we have been asked to arrive promptly by 12.15pm.
Unfortunately we do not have any spare places for our meal unless we have any cancellations.

If you are meeting in Tattenhall, we plan to leave at 9.10am from behind Alison's.
If not, then please be at Boothsdale at 9.40am.
