U3A Walk on Thursday 14 Sept. – Starting at Walk Mill, Waverton

This is a pretty 4 mile flat walk beginning at Walk Mill, Waverton. It takes us through fields, a short wood, farm tracks and lanes. We counted 10 stiles. It was a bit soft underfoot but only for 5 metres in one particular area.
We very briefly crossed the corner of one sheep field and one cow field but livestock were in the distance.
I suggest we meet at Alison's for 9.30am or at Walk Mill car park for 10am set off. It took us about 2 hours.

A table is booked for lunch / or teas and cake at 12.30 pm. Please let me know if you will be staying for lunch as I said that I would confirm numbers with them on Tuesday.

Walk Mill Lane, Stapleford, Waverton (follow brown signs from A41 at Waverton).
Sat Nav: CH3 7RZ to Ford Farm then follow Walk Mill Lane down to the Mill.
