Tattenhall Music Society

Sunday, February 11th sees the return to Tattenhall of the outstanding, international pianist Steven Osborne.

We are always delighted to be part of his concert tour and it's great that he can fit Tattenhall in ... next stop Paris and Rome. His programme will include the music of Prokofief, Berg and Ravel.

His performances are electric and it's great to have such an amazing pianist in Tattenhall. He has been described as one of Britain's most treasured musicians and you can use lots of superlatives to describe Steven's musicianship but he is just SUPERB!!

A quiet and modest man too, he enjoys engaging with his audience and two years ago he needed to attend to a squeaky foot pedal (not something he normally has to deal with at the Sydney Opera House!) We are very lucky to have him play for us and it's marvellous to be able to see him play at such close quarters.

The concert starts at 6.30pm (doors open at 5.45pm) at the Parish Church of St. Alban. Tickets are £10 and £8 for Members (under 18 years old are free) and available from Tattenhall News, Pluto House Post Office or you can just pay at the door.
