Salon Vie's 10th Anniversary Celebration Success – £3,500 raised for Charity

You will remember that we reported on Salon Vie's 10th Anniversary Celebrations just last month.

To mark 10 years in the village, Jane from Salon Vie Hairdressing (front right) and her Tattenhall team, staged a hugely successful fundraising celebration at the Barbour Institute.

The 'Essential Looks 2017' Show gave a fascinating insight into trendy looks in hair and fashion. It was a fabulous evening with wine, canapes and cupcakes. Jane and her team worked really hard to prepare for this exciting event. Not only was the evening very well supported, a staggering £3,500 was raised for Cancer Research UK.

Chris Woolley and Lesley Rowlands, members of Cancer Research UK, were delighted to receive the cheque from Jane and her team, fundraising which is vital for the continued success of this organisation.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, prevention and treatment of cancer and is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK. The charity supports research in all aspects of the disease through the work of more than 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses across the UK who have contributed to 19 of the top 20 drugs used to treat cancer patients worldwide today. Cancer Research UK's groundbreaking work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people will survive.
