Road Restrictions for Carfest

Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2)(b) and 16 A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporary traffic restrictions will be in operation between Thursday 21st July and Monday 25th July 2022, the effect of which will be to restrict traffic as detailed below on roads in the Parishes of Handley, Tattenhall, Bickerton, Harthill, Chowley and Broxton while a CARFEST event takes place at Bolesworth Castle.

A 40mph speed limit will be in operation from 08:00 on 21st July until 13:00 on 25th July on the following roads:

A41Whitchurch Road between Whitchurch Road, Handley and Broxton Roundabout

A534 Barnhill Road/Nantwich Road between Broxton Roundabout and 100m west of Stone House Lane

A 30mph speed limit will be in operation from 0800 on 21st July until 13:00 on 25th July on the Old Coach Road from its junction with the A41 to a point 200 metres east of Production Gate A

The following road will be closed from 13:00 on 21st July until 13:00 on 25th July:

Bolesworth Hill Road between A534 Nantwich Road and Bolesworth Road / Hartshill Lane

The following public bridleway and footpathswill be closed from 16:00 on 21st July to 23:59 on 25th July
