Charles Hobson: May 2019
Do you know what racketball is? Many people don't — and they're missing out!
It's a sport that's grown greatly in popularity in recent years. It's similar to squash, but lower impact and much quicker to learn to an enjoyable standard!
We've been playing racketball at Tattenhall Recreation Club for over 20 years. We hold regular, friendly club sessions a couple of times a week throughout the year, for an hour or more of entertaining exercise on the indoor court. You can also book a court to play at other times.
Racketball is a sport for everyone — it's great for fitness, strength... and socialising! If you've ever played another racket sport before — like tennis, badminton or squash — you'll pick it up quickly. If you've never played any racket sport, it's a great one to start with.
If you'd like to see how the game is played, take a look at this video which was shown on BBC NW News recently. It shows one of the presenters learning to play in just a few minutes.

Interested? If you like the sound of racketball, give me a call to fix up a free 30 minute taster session. I'll provide the equipment and basic tuition to get you started. All you need is enthusiasm and some non-marking (light soled) trainers. Charles Hobson 07850 743526 or charles.hobson.is@gmail.com
