The weather was kind! The Flacca was looking good! And it was wonderful to see so many players, young and not-so-young, taking part in the President's Day's events, and in some very close games! It was lovely to see families and friends enjoying the day and supporting the Club, especially after all the difficulties of the past 18 months.
In the words of the Tattenhall Cricket Club's President, Ian Okell: 'This has always been a special club in so many ways and it is great to see that continue.' He continued ...'There are special thanks due to Grant, Max and Graham for having the ground and wicket looking fantastic, Gary for doing a brilliant job behind the bar as always and to Bob for umpiring for the whole day. And the biggest thanks of all must go to Jon Beddows for organising and coordinating the whole day and doing a great job on the BBQ – not only feeding everyone but raising money for charity at the same time. With the contributions from the players, and the golf tournament the following day, you have all managed to raise over £400 for The Hospice of the Good Shepherd who do fantastic work. Thanks to everyone involved.'
