Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July is a global movement to reduce the use of single use plastic.

Tattenhall Parish Council discussed working towards a single use Plastic Free Village and achieving Bronze award status at the Parish Council meeting this week.

Businesses in the village have already taken many steps to make this possible- the Spar stopped using single use plastic bags some years ago, and Transition Tattenhall stall at the School Fayre focussed on the damage that single use plastic can do to the oceans , rivers and countryside.
