Patient Participation Group

Primary Health Care in communities (i.e. GP surgeries) will face enormous challenges in the future.

You will already know that we are now part of a 'Village Surgeries Group', having merged with Farndon Village Surgery, and that there has also been some erosion of services offered.

Tattenhall represents a relatively affluent rural area. Whilst there are many complex individual needs within our own village, we are not ranked as an area of 'high socio-economic deprivation'. Future financial allocation per head will take this into account.

In addition, a 'Sustainable Transformation Plan' has been published for this part of England regarding the future of health and care services.

Two meetings have now been held within the village to potentially establish a 'Patient Participation Group', one outcome of which will be to keep everyone more fully informed of what is happening in our local patient practice and what changes we might face.
