AGM Wednesday 16th 2026 in the Hall of the Barbour Institute at 7pm

Laura has confirmed a fabulous duo of musicians to perform for us at our AGM.

Georgie Bloomfield, violin & Andy Deng, piano

They have put together an exciting and delightful programme of music ….

Kreisler – Tambourin Chinois

Massenet – Meditation

Amy Beach – Romance

Franck – Sonata, movements 1and 4

Kroll – Banjo and Fiddle

Georgie is an outstanding young violinist and has been welcomed into the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in the First Violin section. If you pop her name into a search engine you will see that she has lots of “You Tube” videos of her performances so you can get a flavour of her amazing talent.

Andy has studied in England, China and America and performed a vast range of classical and contemporary repertoires on stage, as a soloist, chamber and collaborative pianist.

Their performance will come after the business part of the meeting which is always speedy so come along and enjoy a complimentary drink and settle back to enjoy a “free concert”. Looking forward to seeing many of you on Wednesday to make a great start to the new Season ………..
