A third meeting took place earlier this week with a view to establishing a Patient Participation Group (PPG).
Narrowed down to 12 representatives from the combined Village Surgeries of Tattenhall and Farndon, it is now envisaged that the group will initially move forward in the preparation and drafting of a constitution.
As a 'critical friend', the PPG will seek to provide a patient voice and to empower those that are served by the practice. Importantly, this is a two way dialogue in which patients and the practice work together in, for example, improving communication, identifying topics of mutual interest, encourage improvements where possible, and increase patient awareness and satisfaction.
We will keep you updated.
