Inspired Villages and Arriva partnered up to provide an Over 65s Road Trip across the UK on the 'Friendship Bus' to Battle Loneliness.
Members of Inspired Friendships, the befriending service created by Inspired Villages, took part in a heart-warming community road trip from Kent to Liverpool, aimed at combating loneliness among older adults.
Partnering with Merseyside's major bus operator Arriva, the initiative provided participants with an enriching experience, showcasing the vibrant sights and sounds of Liverpool.

Members travelled from Inspired Villages' Ledian Gardens village, in Kent, on Sunday, 12th May, stopping at Inspired villages in Warwickshire and Tattenhall, Cheshire along the way.
On Monday, 13th May, 30 members then boarded an electric Arriva bus for a day filled with activities – a visit to Sefton Park's exquisite Victorian Palm House, followed by an exploration of The Beatles Story Museum at the Albert Dock, and rounded off with a scenic River Mersey cruise, courtesy of Mersey Ferries.
