A very successful 'Operation SHIELD – Drop In' took place at the Barbour Institute on Monday.
As you will all know from previous articles, Operation SHIELD is a CHESHIRE Police approach to property-marking and crime prevention.
One property-marking Selecta DNA kit is available FREE to every household and additional packs can be purchased from Cheshire Police.
Officers have been trying to visit individual households to deliver the packs (as was the original plan) but they have found it increasingly difficult to determine a time when residents are actually at home.
To ensure that every household has at least one FREE pack, therefore, officers visited the Barbour Institute on Monday 18 June to issue the household packs.
However, If you missed it, fear not, the officers will be holding another session (either outside the building or within if the weather is poor).
We will publish the date/time of the next session as soon as we have it.
