Just another update everyone — thank you so much for all your support and to Tattenhall Online who have become a lifeline to the village during this crisis.

This is all such a fast moving situation and the goalposts are constantly changing.

Following the SPAR Tattenhall announcement yesterday on 'When and How to Order' (which is shown in Editor's Picks below CLICK HERE) and following the Government statement of last night, we have been completely overwhelmed by telephone orders for Home Deliveries at SPAR Tattenhall this morning.

Please be assured:

  • we have the food
  • we have the scheduled deliveries arriving at the store, and
  • we are working flat out to meet your unprecedented demands

Currently we have deliveries going out all day today and we are clear tomorrow.

It has just been the sheer volume of calls today.

Thank you to everyone for your co-operation.

Kind regards
Thom Morton and his fantastic SPAR Tattenhall Team

Along with feeders and bird baths, a bird box is high up on the list of a bird's basic needs. As well as providing a home for birds to bring up their families in spring and summer, a bird box will also provide shelter in the winter. When we asked you take photographs of Tattenhall whilst you were on your daily exercise regime (public health social distancing accepted), I think it would...
