Whilst Tattenhall artist Jen Benefield has held a life-long interest in art, for the last 5 years she has been attending classes with the Workers' Education Association (WEA) developing skills working in multi media.

Jen will be exhibiting a selection of her 2D and 3D work at the Annual Art Exhibition of the WEA to be held at Hoole Community Centre on Wednesday 22 July 1-5 pm — the Hoole Community Centre is at Westminster Road, Hoole CH2 3AU.

This event is completely free, will give you a glimpse of local achievement and you'll also be offered tea and cakes — how can you possibly resist?

Those art classes exhibiting include:
* An introduction to Abstract Art
* Continuing Abstract Art
* Life Drawing

Details of further classes are available at WEA.org.uk, or simply come along to the exhibition and have a one-to-one with Tutor, Judy Gough, as well as chatting with the accomplished artists; not least our very own celebrity 'Jen Benefield'!
