The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Webteam: July 2015
Whilst Tattenhall artist Jen Benefield has held a life-long interest in art, for the last 5 years she has been attending classes with the Workers' Education Association (WEA) developing skills working in multi media.
Jen will be exhibiting a selection of her 2D and 3D work at the Annual Art Exhibition of the WEA to be held at Hoole Community Centre on Wednesday 22 July 1-5 pm — the Hoole Community Centre is at Westminster Road, Hoole CH2 3AU.
This event is completely free, will give you a glimpse of local achievement and you'll also be offered tea and cakes — how can you possibly resist?
Those art classes exhibiting include:
* An introduction to Abstract Art
* Continuing Abstract Art
* Life Drawing
Details of further classes are available at WEA.org.uk, or simply come along to the exhibition and have a one-to-one with Tutor, Judy Gough, as well as chatting with the accomplished artists; not least our very own celebrity 'Jen Benefield'!
Feeling inspired? Don't forget that any budding artists in Tattenhall can enter their creations in our Village Show to be held at the Barbour Institute on Sunday 6 September 2015.
