The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Charlie Cooke: August 2015
Friedrich Nietzsche once said 'Without music, life would be a mistake'.
So, with this in mind, the 'Letters Inn' is launching a brand new monthly competition to see who can create the 'perfect pub playlist'.
Each month there will be a 'theme' and all you need to do is compile your perfect musical playlist, copy it onto a CD or USB stick, and hand it in at the pub.
At the end of each month, the patrons of our beloved local will choose a winner and the creator of the winning playlist will receive a bottle of house wine!
The winning playlist will be announced during the last pub quiz of the month and at the end of the year all the previous monthly winners' names will be entered in a grand prize draw to win a gallon of beer!!
The theme for August is 'Letters of the Alphabet' so you need to create the perfect pub playlist featuring an artist or band beginning with each of the 26 letters of the alphabet — now there's a challenge! So, from 'A' ABBA to 'Z' ZZ TOP, the wonderful people at the Letters Inn await your favourites!
