Ice Cream Farm Halloween Spooktacular .... 28th-29th October

We are publishing this article slightly ahead of schedule so that everyone has time to make their 'Spooktacular Costumes' for the event – there are some sensational prizes to be had!

The Ice Cream Farm has a 'toad-ly eerie-sistable' line-up of events taking place on 28th and 29th October as well as 'Shocky Road', a limited edition ice cream, created in celebration of the spookiest day of the year, Halloween – (think chocolate, marshmallows and digestive biscuits with a twist)! The Ice Cream Farm will be fully embracing the age-old tradition with a range of activities happening across the weekend.

• The Creepy Crawly Show will be heading to the award-winning family attraction on Saturday 28th October between 11am and 3pm, giving children the opportunity to get up close with the animals and learn everything there is to know about them.
• Jon, The Balloon Man, will be turning and twisting balloons into animals.
• Chester based author, Darron Rodgers, will be leading a spooky story time
• Face painters will be on hand to transform children into witches, zombies, vampires and ghosts.
• Importantly, children are encouraged to 'dress to impress' in their most creative costumes as The Ice Cream Farm are holding a prize draw, where one lucky winner will win a £25 Play Pass to use at The Ice Cream Farm and 10 runners up will each receive a £12 Play Pass.

General Manager of The Ice Cream Farm, Katie Lewis, comments: "We look forward to Halloween every year at The Ice Cream Farm as it's a great opportunity for the whole team to get creative and host a variety of events. This year we wanted to offer a real mix of activities that families with children of all ages can enjoy and we are really excited for everyone to experience the spooky set up we have planned."
