"Over the past few weeks we have had the joy of feeding two lovely hedgehogs in our garden. They have visited our garden every night for a drink of water and a prepared feast of dried mealworms.
As both hedgehogs are now looking rather plump we are hoping they'll enjoy a good rest over winter and hopefully visit us again next year.
They are such a lovely animal and it's truly heartbreaking to hear that they are struggling to survive in the UK for many reasons.
I thought you might like to share with your readers a video of the two hedgehogs visiting our garden and make a plea to your readers to check for signs of hedgehogs in their garden. Also with bonfire night looming anyone lighting a fire should check for hedgehogs – it is best to build the fire just before lighting so that no hedgehog is hurt."
Lovely images and a welcome reminder if you are building a bonfire anytime but especially in the run up to Bonfire Night.
