Tattenhall is truly terrific!

Representatives from a host of community organisations came together yesterday to present our case in the hope that Tattenhall will be granted 'Community Spirit Award' status.

Whether it be the Brownies, the Guides, TWiG, Tattenhall Online, The Park Playground Steering Group, Homewatch or the Community Safety Groups, the Community Land Trust, Church Groups, OPAL, TOFs or more — each representative gave a passionate presentation to the assembled panel, celebrating why Tattenhall is very much a vibrant, community-centred village and why it is so deserving of this accolade.

We now await the results which will be declared in October 2016.

Watch this space and a huge 'THANK YOU' to everyone (not least the Brownies and the Guides who then returned to school following their presentations). Lots of individuals, groups, clubs and societies in our community go the extra mile to make everyone's lives better within this village and for that I thank you all.
