Road Closure Updates – Notes for the Diaries ...

There has been an alteration to the dates of closure as follows, with Burwardsley Road closing from 4 September.

• Burwardsley Road will be closed for 5 days from 4 September 2017. This will be from the turning to Platts Lane (Cheshire Fishing) and as far as Burwardsley Post Office. The temporary closure will allow CWaC to carry out carriageway repair works, specifically outside Well House. Access to properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

• Tattenhall Road from the junction to Oaklands Avenue to just beyond the junction of Park Avenue will be closed to enable CWaC to carry out drainage repair works. The works are due to commence on 29 August 2017 and are expected to last for five days. Access for cyclists will be maintained. The diversionary route is via Tattenhall Road, Newton Lane, Gatesheath Lane, Chester Road and vice versa. Access to properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.

• A further update – Red Lane is now open across the two bridges.

• Problems on the A41 at Christleton continue as water continues to seep into the hole from the nearby canal.

• Please be mindful too that the Bolesworth Traffic for this weekend's event might cause some delays.
