Determination has paid off and this member of the Webteam has at last identified the owners of the new business which is locating on Church Bank.

Photographed are Nigel and Kate Wood who were kind enough to invite me into their newly refurbished premises and to explain their vision for this exciting platform in Tattenhall.

Both come from a highly successful retail and consulting background with M&S, Argos and United Utilities to name but three.

Their new business will be an online platform but they are very proud and excited to start their chain of boutiques, with the first being located here on Church Bank, Tattenhall.

So, what is behind the window you ask??

Nigel and Kate are launching the Shakti Shanti yoga and leisurewear brand right here in the UK.

'SHAKTI' means POWER and 'SHANTI' means PEACE; the intention being that when you slip into Shakti Shanti Yoga Wear, you feel so comfortable, supported and good about yourself that you can access your POWER in PEACE, with complete confidence, love and respect for your unique being. They will also be stocking a comprehensive size range from 6-18 – their products are high quality and ethically sourced.

The couple who have strong links with 'Maria', the founder of the brand and who is resident in South Africa, are seeking to evolve this original South African designer/creative leisurewear niche.

They will also be the only UK retailer of 'Africology'; a range of essential oils and homewear luxury items.

The official opening is but days away – keep watching Tattenhall Online for updates.
