Antoinette Sandbach to visit Tattenhall today

Today the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury, Antoinette Sandbach (pictured at the top) will be addressing the Tattenhall Business Club.

Antoinette practised as a barrister for 10 years before elected as a regional Assembly Member for the North Wales area; she was appointed Shadow Rural Affairs Minister where she had a reputation for being a voice for the farming community in the Assembly.

In 2014 she was appointed Shadow Minister for the Environment responsible for scrutinising Labour Ministers in the Welsh Assembly which has budget of £15 billion. She also sat on the Assembly's Environment & Sustainability Committee. In May 2015 Antoinette was elected as the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury

The Tattenhall Business Club was started in 2002 with the object of providing a forum for people running businesses in the locality and those who run businesses elsewhere but live in Tattenhall to meet over a convivial lunch and to listen to interesting speakers. Recent speakers have included Ben Broadbent Deputy Governor of the Bank of England (pictured centre left), Professor Janet Hemingway, chief executive of the world-renowned Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (centre right), the author, Julie Summers (bottom left), who gave a fascinating talk about the foundation and history of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and (bottom right) Colonel Bob Stewart, MP for Beckenham and a frequent commentator on matters military.
