A Very Welcome U-Turn!

Earlier this month we reported that from January 2020 Barclays account holders would no longer be able to withdraw cash from any Post Office counter, including that located at Pluto House CLICK HERE.

Following a barrage of criticism, Barclays has bowed to public pressure and scrapped its decision to stop its customers from withdrawing cash at Post Offices.

A nationwide outcry has resulted in the bank's U-Turn and an admission that Barclays 'had been persuaded to rethink'.

In caving to public opinion and political pressure, this can only be viewed as a very welcome outcome for our High Street and for the foot-fall within Pluto House Gift Shop/Post Office.

Remember, our Post Office, our local shops and our businesses require our full support so that Tattenhall continues to thrive – use them or lose them!
