Not Bog Standard Any More!!!

Sunday saw the official opening of the newly refurbished toilets at the Barbour Institute. A ribbon of loo paper was ceremoniously cut and the facilities declared open for business!

A special 'Toilet Roll Cake' generously donated by Alison of 'Alison's Country Kitchen, was cut by caretaker, Graham Marsden then enjoyed by all the invited guests who had contributed to the funding of the project. Many groups, societies and individuals had supported the appeal and we had generous donations from Bolesworth Estate, CWaC and various grant funding. We as Trustees are very grateful to everyone's support to enable this to happen for our community.

The toilets add to the list of improvements the Trustees strive to make to the building to enhance the facilities and prepare it for the next 50 years??? Onwards to improvements to the kitchen!
