Many of you will have seen the new interpretation panels along the Mill Brook Wildlife Corridor.
Further development of this area is planned for the Autumn when Tattenhall Wildlife Group (TWiG), the Environment Agency and the Bolesworth Estate will be working together on the 'Mill Brook Restoration Project'. This exciting project will create new river channels along 230 metres of the Mill Brook within the TWiG nature reserve. The river channels will increase flood water storage capacity and help reduce future flood risk to the village.
As well as enhancing biodiversity, the project will also help the Mill Brook to reach 'good ecological status' under the EU Water Framework Directive.
