We are thrilled to share this fantastic clip of an 'Otter', spotted in the Mill Brook most recently (before the more savvy of you hit your keyboards, we are aware that it might well be a 'Mink' – we are currently checking with The Otter Society – we'll keep you all informed – it is pretty difficult to make a judgement on size from the clip).
That said, clean waterways, abundant prey stocks and vegetated banks are otter musts – the Mill Brook clearly fits the bill!

Don't forget that you can undertake a circular walk of the Mill Brook Wildlife Corridor as it passes through Tattenhall. Our downloadable leaflet allows you to learn about local wildlife, what can be seen and what TWiG has undertaken to encourage nature into the heart of our community. The route can be accessed from any point shown on the map CLICK HERE.
