As we reported previously, CWaC has approved that the Number 41 Bus Service will extend its route to include both a drop off and a collection, to and from The Ice Cream Farm.

This new service will commence on Sunday 20th January 2019 departing directly from Chester Railway Station at 10.30am, 11.45am and 14.00pm and from Foregate Street five minutes later; dropping off directly at the entrance to The Ice Cream Farm. Currently, this service is available every Sunday. Collection times for the return journeys will be 12.40pm, 14.55pm and 16.20pm back to Chester.

From Easter 2019, the service will run also be available on Saturdays.

A return ticket for a family of 5 will cost £10.

Jonathan Fell, Director of The Ice Cream Farm comments: "We have been negotiating on this service for some time and are so glad it's finally here. There is a huge demand from our customers who want to make the most of public transport to and from the farm. The service will be beneficial for visitors, for our local residents and, importantly, will help reduce traffic flow along Newton Lane, particularly during the busy summer period".

The Ice Cream Farm is open daily from 10am-5pm, and will be open from 9.30am-5.30pm in the summer months.

We look forward to seeing you.
