The beautiful village of Tattenhall in Cheshire
Webteam: July 2015
Yesterday saw the launch of 'Tattenhall Online' and we were really encouraged by just how many individuals spent time exploring this new and exciting feature of our village and wider community.
We had 376 visitors to the site who looked at 1113 pages. 150 of you read the 'Welcome' article which explains the aims of our Website; other popular pages included 'What's On' which we hope will become an invaluable and helpful day-to-day guide to everything that is going on in and around the village. There were at least 4 spectators at the first day of the two day County Cricket match at the Flacca who claimed that they would not have been there had it not been for our article about the two Tattenhall cricketers representing Cheshire.
The Directories of Businesses, Clubs and Societies and Services were also well visited. The most popular news stories related to our young Tattenhall footballer who makes his debut in football's Europa Cup tonight in Luxembourg, our new resident squirrel outside the Park School and the Tattenhall-trained sprinter who represented GB in Germany last weekend.
To coincide with yesterday's launch, various businesses have special July offers about which you can find more information on the 'Home Page', and there's a brand new offer from 'Inspired Living', the details of which are in our 'Latest News'.
Transport Links were visited by 76 of you and one reader has suggested that we add Chester's Park and Ride, Boughton Heath timetable to this; we hope to do this in the very near future.
We are also delighted that just one day after the launch, our Facebook page now has 302 'likes'.
As a way forward, we really want contributions from you and we are encouraged that 'Tattenhall Online' is being read further afield already; we know that it was read yesterday both in New York and in Hanoi, Vietnam, and you will see that we have a 'Letter from America' from our former Member of Parliament, Stephen O'Brien.
So do write in, do tell us what you think about 'Tattenhall Online' and do tell your friends about it.
