Now an established part of the Tattenhall community, the Gifford Lea retirement village has worked hard to forge ongoing links between the generations, and between residents and non-residents alike.
'Tattenhallers' have been invited to a myriad of events throughout the last 12 months, whether it be Charity Coffee Mornings, quintessential English Garden Parties, Bake-Offs, or exclusive gourmet and fashion pop-up events.
They have held workshops on site with Ditzy Rose Makery, sponsored the Local History Website, been a prestigious supporter of the Tattenhall Charity Beer Festival and the proud sponsor of an 'inspiring' floral display at the most recent Armistice Centenary weekend.
Gifford Lea has also teamed up with the Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre, in sponsorship and support of the regional arts scene, has held celebrity panel discussions at Storyhouse in Chester and hosted a magical story-telling event, highlighting the fantastic community spirit at Gifford Lea.
As if that isn't enough, Shirley Anderson, Village Adviser, and sponsored by parent company, Inspired Villages Group, competed in the World Championship Long Distance Duathlon as part of Team GB which was held in Zofingen, Switzerland.
Without doubt, our retirement village is very much an established part of our community.
We wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas.
