We Love Tattenhall (NOT)

The sun shone on New Year's Day and it was great for everyone to get outside after some pretty dull, damp and dreary December weather.

Regrettably, however, bags of dog poo (and empty beer cans) were found to be littering the public footpaths.

Whilst one bag of dog poo was left hanging on the fence of a public footpath (not unlike a Christmas decoration), another was literally left on a wooden stile.

Most dog walkers are completely sensible but it really is poor form to litter our beautiful countryside in this way.

In general, the offenders are few in number BUT it should also be recognised that there are some serious 'hot spots' in the village which have already been identified in past articles.

Failing to clear up after your dog is not only an offence but it is particularly anti-social and totally unacceptable.

Please dispose of your dog waste in the bins that are provided throughout the village.

Let's start 2022 in a positive way and be proud of where we live.
