Update on the Tattenhall Pharmacy

Following an article here about the difficulties the Well Pharmacywas experiencing, and the risk of losing it, a number of villagers wrote to Edward Timpson the MP. He has now replied, having asked the Chief Executive of the Health Trust to comment on this. We understand he also sent a letter to the pharmacy with this information. It would seem the Health Trust have commented that community pharmacies are an important part of primary health care. and they will be supported.However we are still aware that the pharmacy is short staffed, and they are still unable to have a lunch break. An article on Facebook pointed out that other Well pharmacies have had to close for days due to staff shortages.
Would it be possible to avoid the lunch hour to visit the pharmacy -to give them a break?

All businesses in the High Streetare suffering from crippling fuel bills and rising costs.
Where would we be without the Spar, the pharmacy, the Post Office, and the newsagent, but if we don't use them then they will not survive. January is always a difficult month for retail as so much has been spent for Christmas. So if possible be kind to local businesses and shop local.
