U3A Walk Thursday 25th April

Jill Hughes has sent the following details about this weeks walk.

This longer walk is being led by Doreen Jones

• Distance 4.5-5 miles
• It is a walk from the Ice cream farm car park (Marina side, park by the hedge along the road) and going along the canal path towards Beeston and returning via quiet lanes and tracks. There will be a drinks stop half way at the Shady Oak ( they are opening early for us ). Fairly level, no stiles but it may be muddy in places after any rain.
• Lunch will be at Carriages. There will be another group at the pub, so the chef would like us to pre-order our meals before we start the walk.
• Meet at Alison's by 9.30 (if you need a lift) to get to Carriages by 9.45 to order food (if you're going direct) and then drive to the Ice cream farm to start the walk by 10.00
• meet there directly if you're not eating
