U3A Walk Erddig – 11 April 2019

This week's walk will be of particular interest to some since not only are we walking at the National Trust's Estate at Erddig, but the second of the Antiques Roadshow programmes which was filmed at Erddig during last summer's heatwave will be broadcast on BBC1 at 8.00pm this coming Sunday, 14 April.

Thursday's walk is just short of 4 miles, starting from the main Car Park at Erddig.

The walk is relatively flat with a couple of short inclines. There was 1 stile, no animals but some muddy bits when we were there most recently!

Viv has kindly arranged for non-National Trust members to enter the grounds for coffee/refreshments at the end of the walk. Please bring your NT Membership with you.

Erdigg (Ll13 0YT) is found by following the brown signs from the southbound A483.

Either meet behind Alison's Cafe by 9.20am to car share, or meet at the newly refurbished Erddig Car Park by 10.00am.
