U3A Walk – 23rd January

Here are the details of our first longer walk of the season, being led by Viv.

It is a flat 5.5 mile walk with no mud!! no animals, or stiles, but goes along the canal towpath in Chester and the banks of the Dee.

Park away from the shops in the carpark by Aldi's and the carpet factory, turning right at the traffic lights off Tarvin Road in Vicar's Cross.

We plan to have a stop at Tesco's for a cuppa and comfort break, and lunch at the Ship Inn in Handbridge, so only bring any refreshments you need apart from that.

We plan to leave the carpark behind Alison's Cafe by 9.40 and the Aldi's carpark at 10.00

Please let me know if you can come, where you will meet, and by Tuesday evening if you plan to have lunch at the Ship.
