U3A Walk 22nd March

Below are the details of our next long walk which is being led by Viv. I've sent them out early as the hotel would like numbers on Tues 20th March, so I'm asking you to let me know if you plan to stay for refreshments by Monday 19th March. Although they are having some refurbishments, we can have snacks including light lunches in the large bar.

This is a 6 mile walk starting at the Grosvenor Pulford hotel situated on the B5445. The walk is flat across fields which may be muddy, there are 2 stiles.

Take the A41 to Sainsbury's roundabout and then the A55 to the A483 turn off for Wrexham, turn left onto the B5445 past the Grosvenor garden centre, the hotel is on the right and has a large car park.

We can have lunch at the hotel, so I suggest we meet behind Alison's at 9.30am ready to start walking at 10am from Pulford and we will stop for a snack along the way, just bring what you need for this, sorry no toilet facilities en route apart from bushes! The walk should take about 2 1/2 hours.
