U3A Walk – Nantwich Riverside

This coming week we explore the Nantwich Riverside

Loop Walk. This is a level 3 mile walk along a river, canal, across fields and through the town so lots of interest. You may already know it. Fields could have a few cows and probably muddy after the rain.

Follow the A534 through to Acton, turn right at the T-junction by the church and then follow the road past the Marina and turn left at the traffic lights at the iron aqueduct (bridge) onto the B5341

Follow this loop to another set of lights and go straight on. Turn first right into Shrewbridge Road and look for a car park on the right, about 2/3 of the way down. (Not at the lake.)

We can have refreshments at the Nantwich Bookshop cafe, where there is also an interesting Museum.

Suggest meeting in the Nantwich car park at 10am or leaving Alison's at 9.30am.
