U3A Walk Nov 14 jpg

Below are the details of our next short walk, being led by Sue M

This month's easier walk is from the Morris Dancer pub in Kelsall, where we also plan to have lunch afterwards. The walk is 3 miles long and took us just over an hour and three quarters.

There were no stiles or livestock in the fields, but the ground was very boggy in places!! There is one quite long climb up a stepped section, and a fair amount of easy road walking.

The Morris Dancer is on Chester Road Kelsall CW6 0RZ, and takes about 20 mins from Tattenhall. Out of the village along Tattenhall road, right into Huxley, left at the T junction then right into Corkscrew Lane. At the main road go left then immediately right towards Willington. Follow along to the next T junction then right onto Church street and left in the village onto Chester Road. The Morris Dancer is just down on the left. Please meet behind Alison's by 9.45 to share lifts, or at the Morris Dancer in time to start the walk at 10.15- there is parking either at the pub or in a public car park alongside it.

Please let me know if you can come, where you will meet, and by Tues evening if you would like to stay for lunch.
