Two job vacancies at TG Builders Merchants, Tattenhall

The Tudor Griffiths Group is a well-established group of companies engaged in the supply of building and construction materials. Committed to delivering excellent service, our Builders Merchants Division are now seeking to fill two vacancies in our Tattenhall branch.
We are looking for a Counter Sales Person
Key responsibilities:

• Working on the sales counter to greet and serve customers in a polite and efficient manner
• Assisting with deliveries and stock replenishment in and out of the store
• Dealing with telephone queries effectively

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
• Good communication skills with both colleagues and customers
• Previous experience in a similar industry/sector. This is desirable but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate

We are also seeking to recruit a full time HGV Category C Driver (Class 2) to operate predominantly out of our busy Tattenhall branch. Your main role will be to provide a friendly and obliging delivery service to our large and valued customer base.
This job calls for someone who enjoys working with people and the willingness to work hours as business demands. Your day will consist of assisting in loading and unloading your vehicle and making multi-drop deliveries to mainly residential addresses. A keen awareness of health and safety is essential as is a positive, customer focused attitude.
Previous experience of operating HIAB equipment would be beneficial although training will be offered to the right candidate. You should also hold a full Driver CPC licence.
