Reduce single use plastic-if possible buy fruit and vegetables loose, or if not take the plastic to the supermarket or shop for them to recycle. See how little you can get in your black bin- remember it goes to landfill where it takes a long time to decompose.
This movement has been happening for some time now, but there is still along way to go, and there are some things that need plastic bags to preserve their shelf life.
