Tilston Wakes is a historic annual village carnival and ox-roasting weekend in Tilston, linked to the traditional rushbearing service at St Mary's and St Edith's church. The upcoming 2026 event takes place on Saturday, 29th August, starting at 1:00.

- Parade & Royalty: Features a local 'Lord Mayor' and Miss Wakes crowning ceremony.
