As we start the New Year, St Alban's wishes to thank the following:

  • Julie at Morton's who baked and donated the delicious mince pies to accompany the mulled wine over Christmas
  • The talented Tattenhall Singers who augmented the choir and did such a fantastic job
  • The team (too huge to name individually) for their amazing efforts in decorating the Church so beautifully – this member of the Webteam can verify that, since our visitors undertook the Heritage Trail which also takes visitors into the Church and they returned in absolute admiration of the Church building and the decorations.

The holiday might be over but the clearing up now begins and we need your help.

We plan to take St Alban's Church Decorations down on Monday 7 January from 9.30am.

Everything needs to be taken down and put into storage. We would very much welcome the help of a few strong people to help us in all of this.

We have storage at a farm by kind permission of a local family, so please come and help.

Tea and biscuits (and maybe cake too) will be available.

Thanks to everyone in advance – this building is a truly remarkable nucleus in our wonderful village.

On behalf of everyone at St Alban's Church may I thank the community for the support they have shown during both the Armistice Centenary in November and during our Christmas celebrations.

Happy New Year to you all.
