Tea Dance now cancelled

Message from the Barbour Institute:

Sadly we have had to cancel the planned Tea Dance due to poor ticket sales.
Can anyone shed any light on why we only sold 14% of the available tickets???? What have we missed? It was hoped that the dance could have become a regular occurrence throughout the coming months as we often receive feedback that some locals do not want to attend evening events in winter. Despite there being no dancing or cakes I'd like to offer a huge thank you to our cake bakers, volunteer helpers, Jan, Allan and the team at Gifford Lea who have all worked hard to plan this event for the community.
