With the cricket season coming into it's final weeks, Tattenhall welcomed Hale Barns to the Flacca looking for a win to get out of the relegation places.
Skipper Glenn Coppack won the toss and bowled, putting the visitors under early pressure as wickets fell to Ben Pearce (2-45) and Charlie Dearling (4-29).
A recovery from 17-4 saw Hale Barns reach 130 all out in 43 overs, but Tattenhall were pleased with their efforts at the half way mark.
The loss of an early wicket gave some early jitters but Hassan played a sound innings of 40 and was well supported by Umer (38).
Tattenhall were looking to chance their arm against the spinner Cooper and were able to increase the rate to get up to 131-5 in the 23rd over.
With a derby game this Saturday at Christleton, this 5 wicket win gives another opportunity to climb the table and keep up the good form.
Former Captain Stuart Sadler will be looking to make his return following cruciate ligament surgery at the start of the year and with Dearling in good form it should be a good game.
