Tattenhall 82/3 (15 overs) vs Oulton Park 80/5 (15 overs) – Tattenhall won by 2 runs

As a curtain raiser to England's match against the Czech Republic, this certainly didn't disappoint the capacity crowd.

Batting first, Tattenhall scored a competitive 82 off 15 overs, with a strong opening partnership from George and Ranija (vital for the match lasting as long as it did, as we started with only 4 players at the ground.....), and contributions from all of the other batsmen.

Harry got us off to the perfect start in the field, bowling their opening batsmen with the first ball of the innings. After that, things remained tight right until the very end, with Sky's win-ometer swaying wildly between the two teams on an over by over basis. Starting the final over, Oulton Park needed 11 to win, but Fletcher kept his nerve and we held on to win by 2 runs. Everyone enthusiastically played their part in the field – all 7 bowlers bowled well and the fielding was excellent, with a catch and two run outs. A great team performance!

And England won as well.
