Tattenhall Singers at LLandudno Festival!

Tattenhall Singers took part in the North Wales Choral Festival at Venue Cymru, Llandudno last weekend, conducted by our enthusiastic and talented Musical Director, Rachael Hughes. This is an annual 2 day event, where choirs from England and Wales perform 3 song items each and adjudicators then judge their qualities and performance.

Our local community Choir travelled to a sunny Llandudno by coach for our first ever competition and came back elated. We sang in the Open Choir event, alongside 6 others from as far afield as Swindon, Rossendale, Stockport and N. Wales. It was a fantastic experience all round. No trophies brought home this time. but it was definitely the taking part that really mattered!

Now, we're all ready for new musical challenges as set by Rachael.

We are a community choir who all share a love of singing. We meet on Tuesday nights, from 8-9.30pm in the Barbour Institute. If you are interested in coming along and trying us out we always welcome new people. No auditions required and it's good fun!
