Tattenhall Singers Are Back

At the beginning of February Tattenhall Singers said farewell to Georgina West, their Musical Director of the last 10+ years, who has moved on to pastures new at Storyhouse.

We are fortunate enough to have found a new and professionally trained MD, Rachael Marsh, who will be taking over from 1st March. Over the years Georgina moulded us into something to be proud of and we're sure that we'll be in safe hands going forward with Rachael.

We've come a long way from our humble beginnings but we have always remained true to our original vision of being a community choir, that takes all comers and expects no musical knowledge, experience or skill whatsoever.

Singing together is a joyous and uplifting experience -- even when we don't do it very well -- and we always have a lot of laughter. Why not give it a try, we have both male and female singers and we'll help you to find the right place in the choir for your voice.

If you'd like to join us, come along for a free first session on a Tuesday evening 8-9.30pm in the main hall of the Barbour Institute. Just make yourself known at the door as a newcomer and we'll help you feel welcome. If you decide to join, there is a small annual membership fee and plus £5 per session.
